The reference notebook of A360 vs UiPath equivalents is the single most useful thing I took away.
Automation Anywhere Essentials
A cross-platform pivot for UiPath developers — A360 metabots, packages, and Control Room basics.
For developers who already build in UiPath and want a working Automation Anywhere mental model. We focus on the differences that matter: package design, metabot inheritance, and Control Room deployment patterns. The course assumes you can already write a clean workflow somewhere else.
What is in this course
- A360 environment configured for cross-org workflow scenarios
- Package versioning and migration patterns through Control Room
- Two paired exercises: take a UiPath workflow and rebuild it in A360
- Mentor critique on metabot design choices
- Reference notebook of A360 vs UiPath equivalents
Outcomes you should expect
- Build, version, and deploy an A360 bot through Control Room
- Translate UiPath patterns into idiomatic Automation Anywhere
- Defend a metabot design choice in a written architectural note

Common questions
It is doable but harder. We expect you can already build a workflow and read documentation — usually that means at least a year of any RPA tool, not strictly UiPath.
Only briefly in week 4. For deep document work we recommend the Document Understanding Bots course instead.
You will use the Community Edition throughout. Enterprise environment access is for our corporate cohorts only.
Voices from past cohorts
Pacing was tight for a five-week course. Worth it, but block your evenings.
Loved the architectural-note exercise — first time anyone made me defend my metabot design.
